Cult American skincare brand CeraVe was developed by a board of US dermatologists who became convinced that cutting edge developments in research and technology could help to create a moisturiser that was superior in efficacy and feel, than existing products. The formulators of CeraVe discovered that a blend of humectants, emollients and three specific ceramides helped to restore the skin barrier, giving plump, hydrated skin.
